Hi! my name is Peter and I run a Home from Home Dog Boarding service in Market Drayton Shropshire. The service I provide could be likened to a Free Range Dog Boarding Service, a service that will suit a mature, well balanced, nice natured dog.
All dogs stay in my home along with myself and my family. I live in an every day home but conversions and alterations have taken place to make it extremely dog friendly.
There is large Doggy Lounge with three piece suite, TV and central heating. The lounge runs right out into a large garden that is fully secure. I run my business on a full time basis with an emphasis on providing each of my boarders with a fun action packed day.

Sadly, very few dogs are able to meet a Home from Home Dog Boarding criteria. Very few dogs are well balanced and nice natured. This being so means there is only a small percentage I can take. If your not sure as to what your dogs standing might be then please read our FAQ pages first.
When a dog does meet my criteria then they render themselves ready for some really excitable days. My particular service tends to suit the Springer, Labrador type breeds, as I spend each of my days wading through rivers, walking through forests and jumping over swamps. This type of activity goes down well with all happy go lucky, up for it dogs. Again please view videos and galleries to see what type of dog stays with me.
I don’t entertain pavement walking or quick walks along mundane paths. If your dog needs to be on a lead then it’s not suitable here. I travel out to rich deep countryside with no roads in sight, once there we unload as a pack and the fun begins. I always travel that extra mile to ensure the walk is top drawer.
I don’t take dogs under 1 years old
I began as a Retreat in 2007 and spent quite a long time making mistakes and finding my way. I have now reached the stage where I know what works and what wont. All dogs looking to stay with me must come for a welcome visit first. This will ascertain their suitability. Borderline cases must undergo a 24 hour trial day.
I offer a Day Care Service as well as a Dog Walking Service. Overnight boarding is just a small portion of what I do. Regardless of the service it is all carried out with one thing in mind. Giving the dog the best possible experience in the time slot allocated to them.
I apologise that if after reading the FAQ page your dog does not fit the criteria, it does not mean there is something wrong with your dog, it just means it would not be right for here. When there are no rules mayhem ensues. I know this from countless experiences.
