First of all please let me thank you for visiting the doggiesretreat.com website. My name is Mary and I run the Staffordshire Doggies Retreat. If you’re here because you’re considering a holiday and you’re at your wits end as to where to board your baby then look no further.
I have dedicated the latter part of my life caring for animals and travelled the length and breadth of England doing so. For the past 7 years I have been running the Staffordshire Doggies Retreat a haven for most doggies whose mum’s and dad’s need a holiday from time to time.
There is lots to show you so please take a good look around our website as I think you’ll find it fun. I am unable to cater for everyone so please be sure to read all that is on our FAQ page before making contact. This way we each avoid disappointment.
When you bring a dog into your life or any animal for that matter you do by default take on full responsibility for the well being of that animal. They can not make decisions for themselves it is solely down to us.
You may think that by boarding your dog as against placing them in kennels is all that is necessary for your dog to be happy. This is not so. It’s the quality of boarding that's important.
To light a fire into any dog’s heart then you need to warm them, feed them, love them and walk them. 5 acre spreads don’t concern them unless you’re willing to spend your days walking them with them. Four Poster beds don’t concern them unless you’re willing to spend your nights sleeping in them with them. More than anything dogs long for acceptance and lots of human contact (Love and Cuddles) provide these in extremely large helpings and you'll be blessed by yet another friend for life.
