Dog Walking At Loggerheads Woods Near Market Drayton
Loggerheads Woods sometimes known as the Burntwood. A great walk for your dogs
Loggerheads Woods known to the locals as the Burntwood is a very lush, scenic and beautiful walk. It’s a fantastic place to go especially if you have a few Labs’ or Springer’s in tow.

It has everything an outgoing dog could wish for, rich woodland, swamp pits and a secret large pond that took even me a year to find.

Even though it’s a popular walk you’re only likely to run into people at peak times such as morning before 10am and late afternoon. I go with up to 7 dogs so that should give you an idea of how seldom you run into to people.

The woods sit on a gradient so it’s drier at the top than at the bottom. If your prone to go off the beaten track then Wellingtons are advisable. At the bottom of the central track continue through some Fur trees, bear right and you will find the large pond hidden away. Google Map Directions
